Cristian Sbarbaro, Business Engineer with an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, with more than 20 years of experience, has driven business growth based on solid financial principles and by integrating technological tools to optimize processes. His experience across different sectors, along with his academic work in accounting, finance, business management, marketing, and entrepreneurship, gives him a broad vision of financial and administrative challenges. At DELPRO, his leadership will strengthen management, optimize resource administration, and foster collaboration, contributing to operational excellence and sustainable company growth.

Industrial Civil Engineer with a Master’s Degree in Asset Management, Andrés brings more than 20 years of experience in copper mining, where he led large-scale projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and assuming key roles at Codelco.
In this new role, he will apply his knowledge and strategic vision to strengthen Delpro’s presence in Chilean mining, driving business development with energy, commitment, and a focus on excellence, consolidating our leadership as strategic partners in the mining industry.

Mr. Jorge Santander joins as the new Business Development Director. Mechanical Civil Engineer, MBA, with an outstanding track record in the industry, his extensive experience in operations and production, together with his solid academic background and strategic skills, will be key to driving our growth and consolidating sustainable long-term relationships.

In mid-2022, Luis Colina Linderman joined the Board of Directors, a professional with more than 30 years of experience managing large-scale projects in the petrochemical and mining industries. Luis will lead the operational strategy of PROJECT MANAGEMENT services for the next 5 years.

In July 2022, DELPRO ENGINEERING formalized a strategic alliance with partner PROACTIVE OFFICE CIA. to implement an advanced online reporting tool for the development of our Project Management services.
Proactive Office has developed an online initiative, project, and contract management software that provides efficiency, proactivity, collaboration, traceability, data capture, information consolidation, and increased productivity.

At the beginning of 2022, the majority investors restructured the company’s Board of Directors based on the strategic challenge proposed for the next five years at a Latin American level. The board is composed of five directors: two co-founders and three independent directors.

As part of the company’s strategic plan, in December 2021 Delpro formally opened a new satellite office in the Magallanes region, as part of its national expansion plan. This allows us to provide technical support for the development of our services in different regions of the country.

During the second half of 2021, we inaugurated our new headquarters located in an important commercial hub of the fifth region, Montemar sector, Viña del Mar. With more than 10 years of history, DELPRO positions itself as a leading Engineering and Project Management company in the region nationwide, standing out for quality, presence, and strong participation in the industrial services market.

At the end of 2019, ICARDI S.A. investment group acquired more than 90% of Delpro Ingeniería’s shares. This provided strong financial leverage, enabling the development of strategic planning areas and defining the company’s future direction.

Our company successfully implemented ongoing development of multiple services throughout the national territory, across industries such as large-scale mining, petrochemical, pulp, chemical, railway, food, and transportation. DELPRO ENGINEERING opened four offices across Chile: Calama, Valparaíso, Concepción, and Punta Arenas, contributing strongly to national decentralization.

DELPRO ENGINEERING renewed its international certifications for its PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND INDUSTRIAL MANAGEMENT business lines.

The high quality of service drove the company’s growth and expansion, adding new companies and divisions to its client portfolio, such as Enami, Gpro, Codelco DET, Codelco RT, Glencore Alto Norte, among others.

In 2017, Delpro was awarded industrial management services for large-scale mining, specifically for CODELCO Chuquicamata Division. A long-term and highly relevant contract for the company’s development.

At the end of 2017, the board defined a migration of the corporate structure to favor reinvestment and expansion.

The main shareholders established and implemented the company’s Board of Directors, initially composed of four directors: two co-founders and two independent directors.

In the first quarter of the year, the Board appointed Mr. Juan Carlos A. Soto Candia as the company’s new General Manager, who would lead the company’s direction for the next five years.

A new Management service line focused on asset management was implemented. DELPRO provided services at Masisa and AES Gener plants, training its staff and achieving its first PMP-certified professional.

Our company formalized its relationship as SAP GOLD PARTNER, strengthening technological support for Industrial Management services.

To strengthen its relationship with ORACLE, DELPRO obtained GOLD PARTNER status for the distribution and implementation of PRIMAVERA P6, the world-leading project and portfolio management software, positioning itself as a reference in PMI-aligned Project Management services.

In response to its strategic plan, Delpro certified ISO standards for its Project Management and Industrial Management services.

The company rapidly expanded and was awarded its first commercial contract with the national oil company Enap to manage its scheduled general maintenance projects from 2014 to 2019.

Delpro was awarded and developed new industrial Project Management services for Celulosa CMPC S.A., positioning itself as a market reference in Capex management services within the chemical industry.

Delpro designed and implemented a PMO for the development of general plant maintenance projects (PGP) for Celulosa Arauco y Constitución S.A., at the Valdivia, Horcones, and Nueva Aldea plants.
