Award of Project Management Services for Our Client Codelco

We are pleased to announce a new award of Project Management services for our client, Codelco – Chuquicamata Division. The project involves the design and implementation of a PMO with clear guidelines for managing the 2022 General Maintenance Project – Chuquicamata Smelter.

The service will be divided into three stages:

Pre-Shutdown: prior to the maintenance execution, with the equipment in operation.

Shutdown: maintenance execution period, with the equipment stopped.

Post-Shutdown: after the maintenance execution, with the equipment back in operation.

Among the main management tasks to be developed, we highlight:

Procurement management

Third-party services management

Quality management

Safety, occupational health, and environmental management

Document management

Risk management

Human resources management

Maintenance information management within Codelco systems (SAP)

Planning and control (schedule, cost, quality, etc.) – P&C Senior

Claims management and contract closeout

Administrative contract back office

Technical inspection of works (Mechanical, Electrical/Instrumentation, Refractory Specialist, Senior PAS RyM Mechanics, among others)

Project activity recording and communication

DELPRO, as a partner of @ProactiveOffice, will provide this technological platform to support the service execution. This platform offers a suite of web and mobile applications for project and contract management, allowing online control, monitoring, and visualization of indicators and performance throughout all stages of the service.

Our main objective is to establish a professional and specialized service, with a team of extensive experience in Project Management (PM) for mining, petrochemical, forestry, and steel industry projects. Its main mission is to contribute to the management of maintenance activities at the Chuquicamata Division Smelter.
