“At DelPro, we stand out for our continuous improvement and strong problem-solving ability, which builds trust with our clients.”

The Operations Manager of DelPro Ingeniería has key pillars in her work: constant communication with clients, reviewing and improving procedures, and strong team communication, which allows her to provide quick and effective solutions to any challenges that may arise during contract execution.

January 29, 2026.- Quick response, 24/7 communication with clients, and the quality of professionals are the aspects that, according to Catalina Ponce, Operations Manager at DelPro Ingeniería, distinguish this 13-year-old company, which has partnerships in sectors as diverse as mining, oil refining, and transportation.

Catalina Ponce, a Risk Prevention and Industrial Engineer, has been part of DelPro for 9 years. Leading a team of 5 people, she has coordinated up to 150 individuals providing services in contract execution.

In her role as Operations Manager, Catalina oversees all services across the different industries served by DelPro Ingeniería. She maintains direct relationships with all contract administrators and plant supply teams and is responsible for all personnel providing services.

For the mining industry, DelPro offers services related to occupational health, project planning and control, plant shutdown planning and development, machinery maintenance, as well as technical and safety inspections.

In the petrochemical industry, DelPro provides technical and safety inspection services, project planning and control, national-level supply management, and general maintenance of plants across Enap’s three refineries: Aconcagua, Bío Bío, and Gregorio, located in Concón, the Bío Bío region, and Magallanes.

In the transportation sector, DelPro provides services in technical inspection and safety inspection.

Regarding the implementation of these tasks, DelPro’s Operations Manager emphasizes that “one of our main focuses as operations management is ensuring that services are delivered by people. We have to take care of our team, and that guarantees that services are carried out properly.” This is complemented by coordinated teamwork, as she notes: “The most important thing is to maintain direct communication with our workers and administrators, always looking after their well-being through recreational activities and recognition for their work.”

In this context, Catalina adds that from the beginning to the end of a contract, “it is important to maintain a direct relationship with our clients. It is essential that we can resolve any unexpected issues quickly, whether during the awarding stage or in any changes that may be required. We act very fast, and that gives the client peace of mind.”

These aspects have resonated within the industry: “We have built a corporate reputation at Codelco and ENAP, and that is precisely because of the quality of our services, the way we perform our work, our rapid response to clients, and our direct communication. All of this generates trust in our company.”
