DELPRO moves forward alongside EFE in a strategic project for Chile’s Fifth Region.

On January 8, 2026, the testing phase of the Automatic Protection System for the Concón Level Crossing was successfully carried out, marking a key milestone prior to its commissioning.

The tests were conducted by specialized teams from DELPRO’s Infrastructure, Engineering, and Signaling areas, together with the Operations Management team and the Technical Inspection of Works (ITO) team. The testing phase also included the participation of EFE’s Project Director, Miguel Pizarro.

This stage made it possible to validate the system’s proper operation, integration, and compliance with the highest technical and safety standards, reinforcing DELPRO’s role as a strategic partner of Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado in highly complex railway projects.

The successful testing phase coincided with the visit of our Operations Manager Catalina Ponce Forno and Deputy Operations Manager Gabriel Neira Cortez . This progress reflects DELPRO’s commitment to technical excellence, safety, and the execution of critical projects for the development of the country’s railway infrastructure.
